Return, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

1. Stock (Non-Custom) Signs, Labels, and Shelf Talkers

Stock (Non-Custom) signs, labels, and shelf talkers may be returned or exchanged for any reason under the following conditions:

  • Items must remain in their original, unopened shrink-wrapped bundles.
  • A 25% restocking fee will apply to all returns.
  • Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
  • Returned items must be received by RTI in resalable condition.
  • RTI strongly recommends purchasing shipping insurance for any returned product(s). RTI is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
  • All returns must be preauthorized by RTI and accompanied by a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • A copy of the RMA must be attached to the outside of the product or pallet being returned. Unauthorized returns or returns without an RMA may be refused or subject to additional processing fees.
  • Any product(s) deemed to be in an unsaleable condition will not be credited back to the customer, but will be held for up to five (5) business days in case the customer wishes to pay for the item to be shipped back to them. If the customer does not arrange for the item to be shipped back within this time, RTI will dispose of the product.


2. Stock (Non-Custom) Shelf Edge Accessories

Stock (Non-Custom) shelf edge accessories may be returned or exchanged for any reason under the following conditions:

  • Items must remain in their original, unopened shrink-wrapped bundles.

  • Returned items must be received by RTI in resalable condition.

3. Custom and Semi-Custom Items

Custom and semi-custom items are made specifically for your order and cannot be returned or exchanged except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect.

  • RTI reserves the right to remake or refund only the portion of the product deemed defective, at its sole discretion.
  • Claims for defective custom or semi-custom products must be submitted within 10 business days of delivery, along with photographic evidence of the defect.
  • RTI is not responsible for errors resulting from customer-supplied artwork, data, or specifications.
  • All returns must be preauthorized and include a valid RMA attached to the returned product or pallet.


4. Printer Consumables

Printer consumables may only be returned or exchanged in the event of a verified manufacturing defect.

  • RTI will cover the return shipping cost for defective consumables.
  • Upon inspection, RTI will determine whether to replace the defective product or issue a refund.
  • All returns must be preauthorized and include a valid RMA attached to the returned product or pallet.


5. General Terms

  • All returns require prior authorization and a valid RMA from RTI. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
  • A copy of the RMA must accompany all returned products and be clearly visible on the product or pallet.
  • Refunds or exchanges will be processed after the returned items have been received and inspected.
  • Any product(s) deemed unsaleable will not be credited, but will be held for up to five (5) business days for possible return shipment at the customer’s expense. If the customer does not arrange for the item to be shipped back within this time, RTI will dispose of the product.
  • Shipping charges (both original and return) are non-refundable, except in cases of RTI error or verified product defect.
  • RTI reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
